Lee began his career in plumbing and heating with an apprenticeship through British Gas at the age of 19. Over the course of his 14-year tenure with the company, he not only worked on breakdowns and servicing but also received thorough training in boiler installations and heating upgrades.

 

Recognising his expertise, British Gas entrusted him with the responsibility of mentoring new apprentices, ensuring they were well-prepared during their probationary period.

In addition to his work with British Gas, Lee collaborated with a friend to renovate a residential property. Together, they undertook all the tasks necessary to modernise the property, including tiling, kitchen fittings, and full bathroom renovations.

​

When Lee purchased his own home, he continued to broaden his skill set, addressing more complex issues like drainage work.

Upon finishing school at the age of 16, Dean began his journey in the plumbing industry as an apprentice at Bullen in Cromer where he earned his NVQ Level 2 in plumbing. His path then led him to a company where he specialised in the installation of bathrooms and kitchens, further developing his skills in the trade. The most significant milestone in his career was when he joined British Gas, obtaining his NVQ Level 3 and earning his ACS certification.

During his four-year tenure at British Gas, where he served as a Technical Installation Engineer, Dean acquired invaluable experience and honed his expertise in all facets of plumbing and heating. He then expanded his horizons by working with smaller companies in the industry, in turn widening his knowledge base. After this short stint, he returned to British Gas, where he continued his career for an additional eight years in his former role.

Concurrent with his professional journey, Dean took on the significant responsibility of training and nurturing new recruits within the company, ensuring they transitioned successfully into the world of plumbing and heating.

Throughout his career, Dean has taken immense pride in consistently refining his skills and knowledge to deliver top-quality service in all projects he undertakes.
